Tasha Cobbs, LecraeChance The Rapper, Kendrick Lamar, and more… God was on full display during the 2017 BET Awards weekend.

Tasha Cobbs Leonard, who was up for Best Gospel/Inspirational artist had a busy Sunday.   Cobbs-Leonard performed at the BET Experience Sunday morning at the LA Convention Center with Mali Music, Israel Houghton, Jonathan McReynolds, and Major.

Kendrick Lamar, who won Best Male Hip Hop Artist let it be known that it’s all about putting God first in his life.

Kendrick Lamar proclaims Jesus everywhere he goes from his albums to his set designs.

With songs titled “God” and “Humble,” the 29-year-old artist told Complex magazine that he believes God gave him a platform for a greater purpose.

“God put something in my heart to get across and that’s what I’m going to focus on, using my voice as an instrument and doing what needs to be done,” Lamar said.

Christian rapper, Lecrae won a BET Award for Best Gospel/Inspirational Artist, and during his speech  accepted the  award on behalf of all the artists that have paved the way for him.
