Tanika Finally Finds It ...

The last time we wrote about Tanika, was when we heard of her debut single Bad4U. We weren't overly keen ourselves, but could see the potential in this girl and wondered when her time would come. It seems that she has, since then, had a bit of a change of heart, and taken a much dancier style on her next single ... one which we think was the absolute right move.
Finally Found It puts her right in line with her buddies, Sam Smith, and Ella Eyre, in terms of the sounds that got them known. Funnily enough, also like her respective mates, this is a collaboration and could very likely be what gets her name known, and her career up and running!!
Horror Stories are the production team behind this absolute stonker, and whilst we believe this to be a huge change in direction for Tanika, the use of these guys is definitely one that, we believe, benefits her too ... we want to hear more like this!!
The beats are something like Disclosure could, and probably would, have come up with had they turned to Tanika for a single. Her vocal, throughout, is very much like the ones you'll hear from the classic dance tracks (such as You've Got The Love by Candi Station and The Source), but with a beautifully contemporary twist that only the likes of her friends will have been able to guide her into.
the end result, as we've stated, is one which could put her at the forefront of the music scene in the next few months if the right names and faces get ahold of, and plug this beauty time and time again.
We certainly love this one, and suspect that if Radio One got their mitts on it, the world would end up loving it too.
