Tamera made the big announcement during Girl Chat on The Real last Friday.

“My cousin is a worship leader. My mom was a worship leader. It actually runs in my family,” she explained to her co-hosts.

Tamera went on to say that she would love to sing for her church, and then move on to do a Christian album.

Her co-hosts Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon both shared that their prayers were answered. They had been praying that Tamera, who has an amazing voice would record Christian music.

“I’m ready now, Tamera shared.   I think it’s important to actually be ready spiritually so that you could put those vibes out there.”

This is good news! If ya’ll remember Tamera and her cousin Jerome Wiggins (who is a worship leader at his church) recorded a song together “I Will” on her reality show, “Tia & Tamera,” which he released as a single.  They also did an impromptu version of “Jesus Loves Me” back in the day that went viral.
