With the beginning of spring, it’s very easy to look forward to the glory days of summer and sunshine even with the remnants of winter’s gloom still lingering. Though it may still be raining and cold while you daydream out your window, Vacationers new track, “The Wild Life”, will surely brighten your spirits. Based out of Philadelphia and Brooklyn, the band is all about music that makes you happy, which this song will definitely accomplish. With pattering bongos and surf-style guitar riffs, the song is a bouncing tropical party that will have you dancing in your desk chair. Even if you’re hesitant, front man Kenny Vasoli chanting along, “No point to making plans/The wild life is human nature,” will surely help you to forget any worry you may have been holding onto.
The group got together in 2010 and have had success preaching their happiness ever since. In 2012, they released their Gone LP and have toured rigorously with the likes of Asteroids Galaxy Tour, The Naked and Famous and Tennis. You can check out the lyric video for the new track above, and be sure to look out for a new LP before the years end.
