Story: T Blockers starts when young filmmaker Sophie (Last) is still adapting to her new life with her best friend Spencer (Dawson). She still finds certain things difficult, but it has more to do with how the outside world sees her. Elsewhere, a parasite has started to take over the residents of the small town, including Sophie’s last attempted date Adam (Browning).
When Sophie and her friends learn they are being targeted by the parasite-infected people, they look to stop the spread. However, they find themselves getting a startling comparison to another small movie.
Verdict on T Blockers
T Blockers is a horror movie following a young filmmaker that finds herself and her friends targeted by parasites targeting the residents. She must team up with her friends and community to fight back against evil looking to consume them.
This movie continues to show the talent of young filmmaker Alice Maio Mackay. At such a young age, Alice has already made three horrors movie and they have all been great fun. When it comes to the pure horror side of the movie, we get the blood splatter that works for the movie. In the story side, we get a close community in the LGBTQ+ finding themselves targeted and fighting back against evil. By having actors from the same community, we get to see the human problems having a more realistic effect on the characters. In the end, you should be making a note of Alice Maio Mackay’s name, as one of the hottest prospects in horror right now.
Final Thoughts – T Blockers is a fun blood splattering movie.
