After listening to their impressively dreamy surf rock, I did quite the double take when I saw that five-piece SW/MM/NG was from the land-locked city of Fayetteville, Arkansas. Geography is far from a detriment to their music’s inspiration though, as each song drips with summer and more than justifies the band’s claim that their style is “the noise of fireworks in a beach fire.” With that depiction in mind, it gives us so much pleasure to present to you the premiere of their new track “Some Dreams Come True”. Though they anticipate releasing a full-length album in the future, this track comes as the front of two digital single releases, soon to be followed by “Teenageless”, both via Old Flame Records.
“Some Dreams Come True” leads off this set with a bang, as the fast paced song is driven by a running, surf rock guitar and dancing melodies from vocalist Brian Kupillas. The result is a powerfully fun track that will make you feel nostalgic for the glory days of summer. Listen above and enjoy!
