Preparation
1.Rinse basmati rice and soak it in water for at least 15-20mins.
2.In a pressure cooker,heat oil,add cinnamon,cloves,pepper,cardamom,green chilies and bay leaf.
3.Once it crackles,add ginger garlic paste and saute till slightly browned.
4.Add onion and saute till golden brown.Then add corn and required salt.Give a quick stir.
5.Drain water from soaked basmati rice and add it.Mix well and add water and pressure cook in medium low flame for 3 whistles.
6.Once the steam goes away, open, add a tsp of ghee and give a quick mix.
Serve hot with any of your favorite curry like Paneer Butter Masala or Rajma Curry.
