Sweaters and Head Gear

Make a statement this winter by pairing your nice and cozy sweaters with some rocking headgear. From cool and casual, to a rock princess, some bling action and looks that transcend from day to night, here is my Sweaters and Head Gear collection.

This comfy sweater from Talbot's is casual, yet features cute embroidered daffodils, which add a feminine touch to the powder blue hue of the sweater. Pair it with some khakis, black tights, or a pair of navy blue jeans to complete your look.

This crochet headband from Strawberry's is a nice size and is wide enough to help keep you ears warm, while keeping your hair in check and is perfect for dressing up any of your casual looks.

COLLAR AND CHAINS ARE A GIRL'S BEST FRIEND

If you're in an inner rocker like myself, then chains and/or collars are some of your favorite things. Class up your rock look with this Eddie Bauer sweater vest. This sweater features a round collar that allows you to wear this beauty with a lighter color shirt; which is sure to pop against the detail of the sweater, or wear it with nothing but a bra under like I did for this look.

I personally made the headband in this look and you can as well. Just take two dog collars from the local 99 cent or discount store and connect one end with the front of the other. Then wrap headband on your head and tighten and close off on top and bam just like that you have a new headband.

PRETTY IN PINK

While I'm a huge fan of black, it's always good to have some sweaters in your wardrobe that speak life when you see them. This vibrant Take out sweater has a wide scoop neck, which shows off your neck and shoulder area and features grey and pink flowers that paint the canvas of the sweater lovely.

DAY TO NIGHT

I found this reversible hat at Target, it's pink on one side and black on the other side, with a pink rim and compliments this look when worn on either side. You can also match this hat with a plain tee and some jeans for a casual, yet feminine look.

I took this Bobeau sweater that I found at Marshall's and paired it with a pair of black tights and top from Macy's. This look allows you to go from the work place straight to meeting your friends at happy hour. If you want to wear a daring top for your night time get together; you can easily close the brown button on top and you're ready to head out during the day, unbutton it after work and you're ready for your evening plans.

This Elle Headband is my favorite thing right now, well has been since the summer. I have worn it with jeans, dresses, on the beach, everywhere really. I love the look of it and regardless of what you pair it with, it gives you a bit of a Hollywood pinup glam look.

TWINKLE TWINKLE BITCHES

I am normally not a fan of glitter or bling bling on sweaters at all; however, this Debbie Morgan Vneck Sequin sweater gets it right, when many other sweaters fail. This cozy vneck sweater features studs of various sizes that cascade around the neck collar. You can rock this sweater from day to night with a nude shade on your lips during the day and a daring bold red lipstick at night.

This Goody headband is slim and dainty looking, yet I've had it since the summer and is still intact. I love the delicate black beaded look of this headband and how it compliments the look and takes a regular blow out and gives it class.

When you want to be daring, yet don't want to show off all your goodies, this Eyn sweater is perfect for letting you show of some skin, while covering you up and still keeps you looking fancy. I paired it up with a Live out Loud from Selena Gomez, flower detail top that features a shag collar. This loose fitting, yet framing sweater glows with a nice sheen when light shines upon it and can also be paired up with a plain tee and some jeans to take your casual look to the next level.

This black crochet french beret can soften up any look you put together; from jeans to chains this hat will have you outfit covered. I made the hat featured in this look, but you can find a hat similar to this one online.
