Most True Blood fans are aware that EJ Scott, the boyfriend of Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica Hamby) has a genetic condition called Choroideremia which causes blindness. Woll and Scott have been very active in raising funds to help find a cure for Choroideremia and last year Scott ran in the Chicago Marathon while blindfolded and raised an incredible $10,000 with the added benefit of losing 80lbs. He is stepping up that goal in 2012 by committing to run twelve marathons, in twelve months, in twelve different cities. Scott’s ultimate goal is to raise $144,000 to fund essential research that will help to save his sight along with many other who have this condition.
