Sometimes I wonder if the naive or small-minded are the people we should fear. Not the different. This episode made me think about this, about how everyone tends to be afraid of what they do not understand. But if you really think about it, people who are different see the world in a different way. Sometimes in a better way, with their minds wide open, taking in everything without judgment or fear. Some see all the possibilities instead of just the ones that everyone else has already seen. But most of all, they have the ability to see the good in everyone. Maybe if we all saw the world through their eyes we could look past our differences and find the common link that bonds us all together.
Okay let me just say what you all are thinking… That might have been too “real” for an episode review of a TV show called Supernatural. Yes, maybe it was. But I felt like it needed to be said. So thank you for letting me get “real” for a moment.
her for what they couldn’t understand. They tortured her and used the “God told me to do it because she is the Devil” excuse. Apparently people think that this is good excuse… it’s not.
Dean had a hard time dealing with Mary being gone this episode. Such a hard time, that the boys were out of sync during this hunt. They both seemed to go their separate ways and dealt with the aftermath of their mom leaving them on their own. “You know sometimes in order to figure things out a person needs space.” After Dean said that, he finally understood and accepted his mother’s decision. Hopefully, Mary will resolve her issues and come back home to her boys.
