Recently, I received two super bright lights to review - a lantern that plays a dual role of a LED light and a power bank, and a bright LED hat clip. Both these lights are very useful for someone who loves the outdoors.
I've never seen a lantern with an USB port! Just imagine, on your next camping trip, you could connect your tablets or smartphones to this lantern to recharge them. Even though, during vacations many of us want to stay away from internet connectivity, just having this extra power source available at the finger tips is a nice thing to have. You could always use the power to charge your devices for maps, and other vacation planning. It operates on either 3 AA batteries or 2 rechargeable lithium ion batteries, and these batteries come with the package. The lantern is recharged via the USB port. The hat clip is perfect for all activities where you need to have your hands free in the dark. It is quite easy to use, all you have to do is clip it to your cap. There is a little button that you press to turn it on and off. Since it is an LED light, I'm assuming the batteries will last for a long time. The light itself is very light, and I could not feel it on my cap. It did not fall off especially when I was bending forwards. I found this very useful when I had to look for things without having to hold onto the torch light. It is very bright, you might not want to direct it to someone's eyes! I personally think this is another nice product to have around the house!
