Super Books for a Super Hero!

By Mummyoftwo @RaspberryGiggle

A little while ago Little Mr A was sent some great new books from the DC Super Friends range by Random House.

We were sent two great reading books; Crime Wave and Hero Havoc together with a Super Friends Sticker Book and a Wipe Clean Activity Book.

Little Mr A is a huge Superhero fan so took to them straightaway! He couldn't wait to get started on the stickers and activity book!

Crime Wave

The premise of the story is that the Super Friends have to save the day when Black Manta steals the world's largest pearl. To do so they will have to face Black Manta's giant octopus!

Aimed at children aged 5-8 this reading book is really well laid out for early readers to be able to sit and read either on their own or together with their parents.

Although Little Mr A found the book easy to read, he loved the story and illustrations and found it a very exciting book to read.

The premise of this story is that Superman's opposite, Bizarro comes to Metropolis intent on becoming a hero, however, everything he does is the wrong way! The Super Friends have to show Bizarro how to become a hero before he causes more harm than good!

As with Crime Wave, the book is laid out in the same easy to read way and is perfect for those children beginning to read, however, older Superhero fans will still get lots of enjoyment from the story and illustrations.

The Super Friends Sticker Book

This is a great sticker book packed full of activities and great scenes to stick the stickers onto.

Little Mr A loves a sticker book (who doesn't?!) and has been having great fun sticking all of the stickers onto the scenes provided to make up his own stories. It is great to see his imagination at work!

It is also a great book to take away as there is plenty to keep children amused for quite some time!

My Wipe Clean Activity Book

This is a book packed full of activities, drawing and puzzles to keep young children busy. The book comes with it's own pen (which has an eraser at the other end) and, once they have completed the activities, they can easily wipe the book clean so that the book can be written in again and again.

As soon as Little Mr A gets an activity book he tends to sit and do everything in one go so, by being wipe clean, this book will last a lot longer as we can clean off the pages for him to complete the activity book over and over again.

Overall we are really impressed by the range from DC Super Friends. They are perfect for any young Super Hero fan and with a price tag of just £3.99 each, they are excellent value for money! We will certainly be looking out for more books in the range!
