பூக்கள் விடும் தூது (Pookkal Vidum Thudhu) 1987ல்வெளிவந்தது. ஸ்ரீதர் ராஜன் தயாரித்து இயக்கியிருந்தார். இத்திரைப்படத்தின் திரைக்கதை, இசையமைப்பு டி. ராஜேந்தர்.இது மலையாளத்தில் வெளிவந்த நகக்ஷதங்கள் திரைப்படத்தின் மறுஆக்கம். இதில் மோனிசா உன்னி, ஸ்ரீவித்யா, ஹரிஹரன் ஆகியோர் நடித்திருந்தனர்.
இப்படத்தில் ஒரு இனிய பாடல் -"கதிரவனைப் பார்த்து பூக்கள் விடும் தூது" -டி. ராஜேந்தர் இசையமைத்து, கே.ஜே. ஜேசுதாஸ் பாடிய பாடல் கதிரவனைப் பார்த்து பூக்கள் விடும் தூது...வண்டுகளைப் பார்த்து பூக்கள் விடும் தூது...பூபாள ராகம்... பூ பாடும் நேரம்...தாகம் கொண்ட ஓடை... தாளம் போடும் வேளை. இந்தப் பாடல் வரிகள் இயற்கை, மலர்கள் மற்றும் கதிரவனின் கதிர்வீச்சு ஆகியவற்றின் அழகை வர்ணிப்பதாக அமைந்து இருந்தது..
