Sundays Are The Best Days

Gallivanting around on a Sunday is one of my favorite things to do, especially when faced with the remnants of a Saturday night hangover.
Today we nipped to Hawarden and visited the farm shop there, followed by a sneaky trip to IKEA and a countryside amble. It was bloody lovely.
If possible I think it's important to try and spend money at these sorts of places sometimes rather than just at the big supermarkets. Of course it's nice to support the independent local producers, but I also really like the idea of knowing exactly where it is what you are eating has come from - fresh and organic with no hidden nasties.
I could quite easily spend a small fortune in there, but for today at least, we managed to restrain. My boyfriend picked up the blueberry bitter he'd been after and I treated us to a slice of red velvet cake and one of their amazing rocky road brownies. We were also really naughty and ate in in order to try one of their traditional breakfasts which was delicious!
How does everyone else like to spend their Sunday - do you prefer to roam about or spend your time indulging in a well deserved duvet day?
