Yesterday while my husband had a private yoga session, Emerson and I went to the farmers market and met up with my mom and sister. We had brunch on the hill overlooking the market while Emerson ran around and played with her friends. It was a wonderful way to spend the early part of the afternoon, and wore Emerson out enough to take an afternoon nap which was quite a treat for us!
How gorgeous is this scarf from NEPALI by TDM Design?  Not only is the scarf beautiful, but it supports a beautiful cause.  NEPALI by TDM Design works directly with predominantly women cottage industries in Nepal to support women weavers and women craftsmanship.  Their company provides sustainable income to Nepalese women and helps weavers and their families break the cycle of poverty by providing them above market compensation and access to education and health care.  In addition, NEPALI is investing in the future by putting weavers’ children through school as well as funding essential healthcare services.  As for the scarves themselves, NEPALI by TDM Design accessories are made from natural materials such as silk, cashmere, bamboo, modal and wool and eco-friendly azo-free dyes; they are eco-conscious, socially responsible, and also quite stylish!  I am proud to be a brand ambassador for NEPALI by TDM Designs, expect to see more of their scarves and accessories on me in the near future.  And if you would like to know more about the company or get a scarf of your own, check them out on Facebook, Twitter, or visit their Website!
