Sunday Summary | Countdown to Christmas

Well hello December; we're into the home straight of 2015 now. Christmas is creeping closer, it's feeling colder (dare I say, finally - I like wrapping up with cosy jumpers and scarves) and it's completely acceptable to drink hot chocolate all day if you wanted!
This week's been a funny one really. Heading back from Edinburgh early meant I had Monday off work and a trip to Newcastle happened where I finally got my All Saints leather jacket (Christmas present a little early, thanks Mam and Dad) and my nails done, that rather sparkly affair above. I'm pleased to say, my manicure is still looking strong almost a week on hopefully it'll last until the end of the week so I don't have to repaint my nails for work's Christmas do. Tuesday I got my hair cut, slightly impulsive perhaps but it needed tidying up and feels so much better now.
Fast forward past Wednesday where I had a lovely catch up with Katy, to this weekend where my Aunt was up visiting and today I've been out - to Newcastle again, for a catch up with Sarah, pizza and shopping. I'm hoping I'm now sorted with my outfit for Thursday; it's not easy to find something that's suitable for a party with (new ish) work colleagues, bowling/pool and something I feel confident wearing. So many dresses seem to be so low cut and then really short, I don't want to be showing everything off do I? Has anyone else noticed this?
On the blog this week I shared my 5 From This Month - slightly later than usual and what I received in my John Lewis secret santa. I may have finished those chocolates now though...
