Sunday Summary #42

I'm having a well deserved relaxing night after a very busy week at work, burning the new candle I received at the Terry de Havilland event on Thursday evening. I'll have a post up about it next week, so be sure to check back if you like your shoes!
Aside from working almost twelve hours on a few occasions this week, I've also seen George Ezra at Newcastle Uni and been to the cinema. George Ezra was so good live, although the crowd were pretty noisy and so rude to the support, Rae Morris. There were a few moments during her set when I couldn't hear her properly over the group shouting at each other behind Lucy and I. Then there were those really tall guys who pushed in front of us, after pushing in front of a woman who had her children with her. So rude!Yesterday I went out for a big family meal to celebrate my Great Aunt's 80th birthday. Lucy made her birthday cake, a seriously good fruit cake and everyone had such lovely comments - which she really deserved; Mary Berry watch out!I briefly mentioned I'd been to the cinema, we went to see The Maze Runner and the easiest way to describe it is 'a bit like The Hunger Games'. Really liked it though and I think the next film I wanna see is Nightcrawler with Jake Gyllenhaal. This week I've blogged about my spa visit and an exhibition at Baltic, Gateshead.
