As always, dissertation work is one of my main concerns and now we're into the month of May, that deadline seems to be approaching so quickly! We went over to the lakes for our final re-shoot very early on Monday morning to get those last shots we needed. I think we're all feeling a lot better about our film since we had our rough screening on Thursday and the tutors gave us some really good feedback. Now we know which direction we want to take the film in and the kind of editing and sound design that'll really make it work and hopefully make it stand out and not feel so 'studenty'. It does mean there's a lot more work for me to do, but I'm actually feeling pretty motivated - so hopefully that stays!
I went along to a Tea Party event at Vivienne Westwood on Thursday night (will be putting up a full post next week) to see the SS14 collection. It was so lovely to see the models walking around store showing off the outfits and the mini macarons were so cute.
I maybe ordered a little too much from ASOS this week, making the most of their 25% student discount offer. Let me know if you'd like to see a haul video, my last one seemed to go down quite well so I'm sure I could find time to film another?
Today has been the most exciting (and scary) day this week, perhaps even one of the scariest this year! I took part in the Zip Wire Challenge organised by Sunderland Live as their Challenge Blogger. I'm so proud I did it, once I'd stepped off the bridge it was actually a lot of fun but as always, I'd worried about it up until that point and made it into a way scarier thing than I needed to. I've got a busy week coming up, with lots of uni work to do, a music video shoot I'm gonna be featuring in and next weekend sees the start of Newcastle Fashion Week and I'm going to see Katy Perry too!
