Sunday’s Suitcase 25.11.12

By Yourfamilysurvivalcoach @shari_brewer

Another week’s gone flying by and in the spirit of Sunday’s Suitcase reflection, here’s my take on the week that ends 25.11.12.

  • Condolences and much love is sent to the family and friends of the 17 year old girl whose life was cut tragically short on the Gold Coast this week. Many parents hold their breath for a week whilst their school-leaving child parties at schoolies. It’s seen as a rite of passage by many and, as a Brisbane girl myself, I have been there done that as a graduating teen.
  • RIP Larry Hagman – I’ll always remember him as Major Anthony Nelson, Master of Jeanie.
  • RIP Bryce Courtenay – adopted by Australia to become one of our favorite and best selling authors. Have you read April Fool’s Day? If not, please do.
  • If you are a go-getting goal-setter, the SMART process is a way of keeping resolutions and do-able.
  • I’ve been over-run by fluro and took a step back in time to the 80s. Surely not every trend should be reborn?
  • Shitty mornings happen at your place too, don’t they?

So how was the week in your world?
