I have always had an obsession with pools. Maybe its because I grew up in Scandinavia and that meant that outdoor pools were so exotic you mainly saw them in films and only had a chance for a swim overseas on holidays. I once as an 11 year old spent two weeks in a pool in Italy. I still remember the yellow deck chairs, the poolside bar and the smell of chlorine on my skin. To me, a pool is the height of luxury and glamour. To this day when booking a hotel anywhere in the world my first guestion is- But does it have a pool?
