My smartphone of note today is none other than the Nokia Lumia 710. The device was first released in December 2011 and introduced in Malaysia only in February 2012 which is then retailed for RM999. It was a mid-range phone intended for young executives or virtually anybody who have the money but today however, the cheapest price I can find for the device online is RM499 (Us$160) and price differs from one one retailer to the other from RM499 to RM700. I have not checked on my local stores but I guess they do have the phone in stock and surprise surprise, the price could even be cheaper than the online stores. It available from Lazada for RM619 (Us$199) and Lelong for RM499 and again please do check on the authenticity of the device and seller before committing yourself for the sale.

LCD display’s quality is average, no Flash or Silverlight support in browser, no USB mass storage (file management and sync pass only through Zune), no video calls and no front-facing camera either, no memory card slot, no microSIM/SD card slot, no native DivX/XviD support, videos have to be Zune-transcoded, not very good audio quality and poor battery life. Sorry, I am not a member of the Middle-split Hairstyle Association, I am trying to capture some pictures here… I mean girls pictures..
Personally, I like the Nokia Lumia 710 firstly because of the incredible price cut making it as the most wanted budget phone on the block, followed by the 3.7-inch scratch-resistance Corning Gorilla Glass screen, the fast single-core 1.4GHz CPU, the 5MP camera and finally the Windows Phone 7.5 (Mango) operating system and nothing else matters as long as you have the right amount of money!
