The Sunday Brunch Launch at the fine dining Pavilion 75 saw an awesome blend of exotic hybrids of the Breakfast and Lunch menus. It looked like a nice small Carnival with lots of entertainment happening – The “scratch-your-brains” tricky Q n A’s asked at every tables, the live band setting up the perfect ambiance, and the Delhi Harley Owners Group ( HOG) turning up with their Harley Davidson Bikes was a sight to see!!! Though it was a crowd-to-see, the restaurant doesn’t give you a claustrophobic feel…The space and the seating is perfectly done to make you a part of the family and yet have your own privacy.
The staff is efficient and the service gets a thumbs up from us.
We started with a glass of Sangria. Greeted and shown around by the F n B Manager Virender Thapa, we loved the variety they had to offer on the menu. There was the soup section with assorted croutons, the Live station of Pizza, Chaat, Eggs and even Cotton Candies with lots of brownies/cakes/ donuts for the kids. The Apple Juice from the Juice Bar is a must-try! The fresh juices of watermelon and orange are refreshing too. The Bread section was huge with a variety of fresh and soft Farmer’s bread, Multigrain breads, Breakfast Breads, and rolls.
The Salad section is to “Indulge” for. We tasted and loved all of them, but the best variety was the Zucchini marinated with Pesto and the Sundried Tomatoes and Broccoli Salad. There was even a wide variety of cheese with condiments to go along with your Sangria :)
What we Loved : The Gol-Gappas with the Pineapple flavoured paani was a new addition!
Give it a miss : The Fish Tawa Masala was too spicy. The pizza had ordinary toppings and the Toffee Panacotta from the dessert section was too sweet to our taste!
The “Dessertarians” that we are, we were impressed with what they had to offer. The Indian desserts definitely got an upper hand here with the Kesari Shabnam and the Gujjia being the best…but we even loved their wide variety of western desserts. The most favorite being Almond Baklava and the Fresh Strawberry cheesecake ( soft and yummy , we still can’t get over the taste ).
Overall experience: A good value for money Brunch, the price being very reasonable considering the quality of food and variety of menu they offer.
