Some ideas for going out this Burns Night.

Running from Monday 19 January until Burns’ Night on the 25th, The Scotch Whisky Experience The Scotch Whisky Experience is including a special Robert Burns Tasting Tray on its Gold Tour package, which includes four whiskies produced by Scottish distilleries dating back the 18th century and the time of Robert Burns.

The Gold Tour includes a barrel ride through the production of Scotch Whisky, an introduction to the aromas in whisky, as well as the tasting tray and much more. The tour runs daily and leaves every 15 minutes between 10:20 and 17:00 for a cost of £24.50 per person.

Amber Restaurant, located within The Scotch Whisky Experience, is also putting on a Robert Burns set lunch and dinner menu for just £17.95, available from 19 – 25 January.

The four-course menu includes:

· Loch Etive Trout and smoked Finnan Haddock wrapped in pastry with creamed leeks

· Haggis, neeps and tatties with whisky sauce

· A selection of Scottish cheeses matched with the
perfect whisky

· Coffee and shortbread

Cottier Theatre has two nights of fun with a Burns Ceilidh.

A delicious three course Burns supper, a dram and a ceilidh for £28 per person.
With poems, bagpipes and The Big Stupit Ceilidh Band to get you all up dancing, this is a night not to be missed!

Corinthian Club have a Burns Whisky Tasting Supper 23rd January

Award winning Bar Manager and Whisky Ambassador, David Sinclair, will host an intimate Burns Whisky Tasting Supper.

Burns Kids Ceilidh

To kick off Burns Day in The Flying Scotsman, Creation Dance School will get the kids involved in our Burns Celebrations with some traitional ceilidh dancing for the wee ones.

Suitable for age 5 – 15, suitable footwear must be worn, all children must be accompanied by an adult £5 per child, including juice and snacks (adults go free).
