Second Awakening, or simply 2A, is the process of awakening your Summoners War monsters. This will increase the stats, give access to new skills, and also change the appearance of your monsters. To do this, you will need what are called Essences in this game. The degree of essence required to awaken depends on your monsters. Low-star monsters require low-grade essence and high-star monsters require high-grade essence.

Shannon, the Wind Pixie
Shannon is a 2-star support monster and you can get her by completing challenges, secret dungeons, magic shops, unknown scrolls, and social summons.
Once awakened, her base chance of landing the Spirit Ball debuff goes from 50% to 75%. Her A2 now has a 100% chance of decreasing the enemy’s attack speed by 2 turns. Also absorbs their attack bar by 10% with an 80% chance.
She gets a new skill called Pep Talk once she awakens. This lets her increase the attack power and defense of all allies for 3 turns. This skill has a 4-turn cooldown.
Spectra, the Fire Griffon
Another support monster, but this time we have a 3-star. You can get Spectra from the fire scroll, temple of wishes, secret dungeon, unknown scroll, mystical scroll, social summon, and mystical summon.
Spectra does not get any new skills once awakened. However, the existing skills get so much better.
Spectra’s A1 ability now does extra damage. The second ability gets a cooldown reduction and finally, Backlash now also reduces the attack power of the enemies along with attack speed for 2 turns. The cooldown is reduced from 5 turns to 3 turns.
Kro, the Dark Inugami
My third and final pick for the best 2A Summoners War Sky Arena monsters for beginners is everybody’s favorite, Dark Inugami. Kro is a 3-star attack monster and you can get it from the temple of wishes, secret dungeon, and scroll of light and darkness.
Kro, by default, is already a great monster and once you awaken, you become much more effective. Scratch now has an 80% base chance of dealing continuous damage for 3 turns, instead of 50%.
Kro’s A2 increases the damage for each harmful effect on the enemy whenever you team up with an ally. Both you and the ally get increased damage.
Finally, Scar now leaves a branding effect for 2 turns and does more damage overall with a 3-turn cooldown.
Conclusion
