Temperatures may have plummeted again this week, but nothing is going to stop me from at least pretending that it's summer. With three new nail polishes from Nails Inc entering my collection recently, I felt it was about time to give them a go and I have been so happy with them I thought it only fair to share with you.
The first shade, Kensington Passage (pictured middle) comes in the new gel formula released last year. And boy does it deliver. I actually wore this shade when I was in Uganda and it lasted the whole two weeks through some pretty intense farming, digging and building, with not a chip in sight... magical. My friends were all incredulous and I'll definitely be investing in more shades with this formula because the lasting power was amazing, and it's still cheaper than getting proper gel nails done in a salon, win! I'd really recommend the shade too, a lovely coral-red that perfectly compliments and enhances a summer tan and looks fab on both fingers and toes.
Something a little more toned down but still sort of summery is Haymarket (left). A shade somewhere in between a mint green and tiffany's blue it's a pretty one to wear if you're not so into the brights. The classic brush, great lasting power and cute name are all a winner in my books. And finally, my Festival pick of the bunch, as aptly described on the bottle, Sloane Street is (perhaps surprisingly) my favorite pick of the bunch. A hot pink that packs a serious neon punch, this is a great one for cracking out when you want your nails to make a statement.
I think that's it for my current Nails Inc revival but recommendations would be warmly welcomed. Any summer favourites of yours that I need to know about?
