Hi everyone! How’s the day been? Mine, not too tough today. There were less patients Alhamdulillah these days. It’s summer break here in Saudi Arabia and that explains the significant decrease in patients influx. Most of the patients and their families are on their escapade finding a cooler place to dwell in because it’s almost scorching in here. If not for the unfriendly weather atmosphere of summer, I would have to say I love this season. It saves me a little energy for the upcoming months where patients will have to come and my everyday work routine would resume again. I’d be counting the days but for now I would just enjoy the flow.
Last Monday, we had our BLS or the basic life support training which is mandatory for all healthcare providers and as a Pharmacist I have to undertake such. It was stressful but fun. The summer heat made it more stressful and we had our moments of panic but managed to smile and laugh at our every errors. Our instructor was so cool. She is such a sweet lady. She guided as all through out. This isn’t my first time to take the course actually but this time, I really learned a lot… 😊. The approach of teaching used by our instructor was so effective. I wouldn’t wish to be put on a situation just so my BLS skills could be tested but if situation calls for it, at least I know a bit of BLS and who knows that I might be able to help someone.
On a lighter note, today I received a present. Yay! Who wouldn’t want to receive gifts? 😊😊😊.
It is a light yellow long sleeve top from Zara. This is so weather-appropriate for the summer season. The picture wouldn’t justify how pretty this top is but believe me it is. I didn’t find the right angle to show how chic it is. I guess my cam just can’t pick the right hue to make it stand out. Next time I’ll upload a decent photo and find a matching skirt or jeans for this 😊.
I would like to end this post with this illustration which I created using My Brush Pro, an application I purchased from AppStore.
Save Mother Earth and make this world a better place to live and perhaps that would make summer a little cooler to thrive in. Maybe? 😊 Till then.
xoxo
