For some of you, this stretch of time may last for quite a while and, for others, like me, this may go by in a blink of an eye before the cold weather sets in and it will be completely miserable to go from point a. to point b.. Either way, take a look at the suggestions below.
Stylish Ways to Commute to Work During Transitional Months
Outfit #1In this look, I added a pop of color with this Echo Design scarf to these basic black tailored pants from Theory and wrap blouse from Reiss that is accessorized with a layered necklace from Ann Taylor, feminine heels from Ivanka Trump and grey tote from Rebecca Minkoff. To further finish the transitional look, I added these sunglasses from Marc by Marc Jacobs and, because I love dichotomy style and doing things like mixing hard edge with feminine, these fingerless leather driving gloves from Fratelli Orsini.
An important thing to keep in mind about your stylish commuter look is that once you remove your cool weather layers and purse that your outfit is still stylish.
Outfit #2For a transitional season commute to work, I added this duster cardigan to this work look consisting of a simple J. Crew sheath, a pair of red suede heels, black stud earrings, some stacked bracelets from Bauble Bar and an eye-catching black and white Brahmin purse. The outfit is further ready for a transitional commute to work with a pair of oversized grey sunglasses from Native Eyewear and a pair of grey leather gloves from Warmen.
Outfit #3When commuting to work during the transitional months, think in terms of layers and keep adding until that dastardly winter coat is required.
