Style: Tea Cup Half Full

By Annamoss84 @missanniebean
This entire post is going to contradict my previous one about the weather being no where near ready for SS13 attire, but I assure you there is a reason why...
The other day me and my lovely boy decided we're going to have a trip to Nice, not just for the wonderful scenery but primarily to watch the Tour De France when it ventures through.  We've been to France for the past two years to watch the Tour De France, (I posted about it last time here) but have always gone to Paris, so as a deal we decided to ditch the capital and visit another part to watch it.  With this all in mind I started thinking ahead about what sort of clothing would be good for that kind of adventure. There would be bike watching, beaches, tea, and general having a jolly good holiday!  I couldn't resist popping a mood board together to express some of my ideas.

I'm an extremely girlie girl and anything with a hint of 1950's is my best friend, therefore in my style post I've gone for a cute floral dress from Joe Browns.  It's ever so light, has a zip up the back to keep you in securely and is very easy to wear.  The beauty of this dress is that it can be dressed up or dressed down, I know I've only shown it extremely simple  with colourful heels but you could add gladiator sandals for beach strolls or for when you are heading out for lunch. The dress is called Days Gone By and is part of their new summer range, which is all themed about travel. Ideal for what I'm after.

What I'm Wearing: Dress - Joe Browns Days Gone By Dress £39.95, Bag - Nica Vanessa Shoulder bag - £69.00, Heels - Topshop Suede Bright Pink

I could add a lot more detail to this dress; bangles, necklace, earrings, cardigan.... but I think the dress has so much going on you don't always need very much, or in  this particular style case nothing at all.  I know I've added a cheeky clash of hot pink and coral, but there are such a variety of colours in the dress somehow it still works!
Let the dress do the talking!
Roll on spring and my trip to France!
What do you think?
