Whatever be it, I am feeling spring in the air and whenever the temperature will soar in the upper 70's, I will be busting out my spring closet pieces. Talking about which, a white skirt- in your favorite length is a must-have in every fashionistas closet. A plain skirt can be boring but this one, I am wearing today: gets a whole different persona with the tie-front style and eyelet pattern- another hot trends this spring. The tie-front does take this skirt up all notches.
skirt- SUNO c/o SHOPBOP ( without the tie, loving this one, longer skirt option ) dress worn as top - Banana Republic (another one from BR ) jacket- Guess ( similar) bag- Kate Spade ( stripes option ) pumps- Schutz in black ( floral from Guess )
I've always been a troubled soul when it comes to curating looks around anything white in the bottoms department. Other than pastels, there is no other color that appeals to me as much, when paired with white. But I had no clue, that a printed top could be a contender and this dress from BR was just that piece. I did end up topping off my look with a pastel jacket but agreeably the pop of navy-blue gives so much personality to this look. The floral pumps were my daughter's pick and undeniably: 'my girl has an eye for style ;) !!!! '
