Style Swap Tuesdays- Holiday Dressing Part Deux

By Saumya Shiohare @myriadmusings1
In case you missed, I posted my first holiday outfit yesterday. While velvet and budget-friendly look was the highlight of yesterday’s post, today it’s all about sequin. Not necessarily a budget look, coz you don’t want to look trashy in a cheap sequin garment. Take some time, shop around and buy a sequin item that you could wear as is or pair with other pieces already in your closet.
I’ve had this jacket for a while now, but all that weight-gain in the past was coming in my way of wearing it. I’m happy that my hard work at Blast DC is finally paying off and after some inches loss, I am able to wear it again. The dress is definitely new and a splurge, but the best thing about it is that, I can wear it both in a casual and a formal setup. Formally, like I am wearing it today and casually with a denim jacket and a pair of flats for that matter. To make my today’s look more festive, I wore some velvet heels and topped it off with a velvet bag and kept my makeup minimal.
How would you style this dress and would you be wearing sequin this holiday and beyond??
