Style Swap Tuesdays - Holiday Dressing, Outfit No. 1

By Saumya Shiohare @myriadmusings1
Invitation received, confirmed RSVP, now what?? If you ask me, my answer would be pretty predictable " what am I going  to wear?" If you are sailing the same sartorail-dilemma boat, then you are in for a good catch. I have put together SIX different festive outfits, ranging from dresses, to skirts, to sparkles, to jumpsuits, and everything in-between, that will guaranteed to get you through all your Christmas and New Years Eve and in-between parties.
Today marks the first look- a classic black gown with a modern twist. The ditsy white and pink flowers make this dress uber feminine and give a very fresh appeal to that dress. I wanted to add a bit of glam with that sequin jacket, which BTW is fashionably allowed even during the day time, and that faux-fur stole. Kept my makeup and hair minimalistic, reason- 'I wanted the dress to steal the spotlight. '
I would wear this outfit to an office party or to a friend's/colleague's cocktail party. That dress would be a little contemporary for an evening gala, but if think you can make it work, then this dress be it....

NEEDLE AND THREAD maxi dress  ( shorter dress version ) // DKNY sequin jacket // ZARA stole
