Calendrically, it might be November, but weather-wise it definitely feels like September. Mornings are chillier and the afternoons and evenings are pleasantly warmer. There have been afternoons where I have had to turn down the heating and let go my warm layering. As much as I dislike to keep postponing the debut of the heavier layers, undeniably I am enjoying this no-jacket-only-cape weather.
If you remember- I wore one last week and this week this embroidered-stole-turned-cape is the spotlight. So ladies, if you don't already own a cape, don't panic: just wrap around your favorite stole, belt it if you want that cinched look and voila - "you just excelled the art of reworking your closet".
Now lets shift focus to this fabulous fringe suede dress- which BTW works both as a dress and as a top. It might be short for a tall girl's liking, but when worn with a pair of tights and killer over-the-knee-high-boots, it might just work for anyone. With all the fringe and the shorter hem-length, it sure was a sartorially-daring-choice at my end, but it was the rich Marsala color of the dress that caught my eye. I have been on Marsala-high and this one too had to come to me. I have already worn this dress as a top ( stay tuned for the post ) and I really can't wait to style it differently.
