This weekend just gone my very fit partner did his iron distance triathlon; 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile cycle and 13.1 mile run.... rather him than me! Up with the birds at 4.45am on Sunday morning then over to Holme Pierrepont for his 6.38am start, I was so pleased to finally find coffee at about 10am! He did such an amazing job and finished in just over 6 hours, which is pretty good going and far better than I could even dream to do! But as it took up quite a bit of the Sunday we spent the rest of the time strolling about in the sunshine and finally having a well needed drink...
e doing dresses I wasn't sure what they would look like, but I feel in love with the rich red of this dress. It doesn't have their logo slapped all over it and instead it is just stitched in the corner. The prom style is perfect for creating/emphasising curves and with this particular dress it's elasticated so I can slip it on easily. I'm a sucker for a cute summer dress and this ticks every box for summer days.
I love the rich red of the dress but didn't want to stand out too much.
To keep my look toned down I have used basic browns and a stone coloured cardigan. My nails are actually sky blue but I don't think this makes too much of a difference... to be honest I'm all about pastel nails right now. What did you do at the weekend?
