Style: Layer It up with Lace

By Annamoss84 @missanniebean
I was hunting around trying to find more clothes to wear in this up and down weather we're experiencing.  It's been tough, one minute its non stop rain, and the heating is nearly on, the next it's roasting hot and the sandals are out.  I can't keep up!  So in this style post I'm showing you an outfit I've gone for incase of all kinds of weather. I've chosen some simple items, that when placed together create a fantastic look.

By the way, I do promise not all my posts are about the temperamental British weather, It's just very annoying at the moment!

As you can see If I've picked the Topshop Cap Sleeve Tunic in cream.  This baby was only £20.00 and can easily be worn on its own, or layered with something else.  I know some may have chosen a deeper colour, but something drew me to this one. I think  I went for cream, mainly because I refuse to immediately switch to dark colours now its autumn.

Topshop Cap Sleeve Flippy Tunic Dress in Cream - £20.00

What a fantastic price for a basic dress! It will work splendid with the hot sun... but what if there is a chill, then what do you do?  Well I decided to run with this seasons colours and throw a bit of berry into the mixing bowl.  I love anything lace at the moment, so this top from Next was a sure hit.

Next Lace Sweat Top - £16.00

To make this top work with the dress, I popped on a thin waist belt in black.  This held the sweat top in, still giving me a shape.  You don't have to use cream dress underneath, black would work fine, but be careful it doesn't drown you out in the early part of the season.

What I'm wearing:  Dress - Topshop Cap Sleeve Flippy Tunic Cream - £20.00, Top - Next Lace Berry Sweat top - £16.00, Necklace - Topshop Locket - £8.50, Bag - Primark, Earrings - Newlook cream flowers, Shoes - New Look Suede Black Wedges
Another different look for me, but I'm really quite fond of it!
What do you think?  Do they work?
