Style Faux Pas: MTV VMAs 2013

The only thing I can commend Gaga for is for not going with overly-exaggerated style everyone expected of her, instead she went with understated Morticia, trash-bag chic.

It looks like a leopard got into a fight with a bird and Katy wore the remains.

This looks like a poor homage that a toddler would have made to Madonna or Selena.

When will these people realize that the ole "I forgot my clothes at home" trick doesn't have shock factor any more, it's just distasteful.

Looks like Sarah was style saluting to Star Trek, Wonder woman or something. Either way, this get-up ages her in the most unflattering of ways.

Had Shailene gone for a different, more feminine top, this look could have worked but it looks like a party on the bottom and gym-time at the top.
Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins and Rozonda 'Chilli' Thomas of TLC
Oh how I hate to do this because I really love the ladies of TLC. But seriously, had they worn this in the days Lisa 'Left-Eye' was alive, we would have called them fashion forward, unfortunately at this time they seemed to have gotten dressed in a time capsule.
