The first total lunar eclipse of 2014 lasted about 3 hours on April 15th, when the great big red planet got together with the moon, giving a blood-red hue to the moon.
Another total lunar eclipse will happen on October 8th. Don’t miss this one, because if you do you’ll have to wait until April 8, 2015 to see the next one.
