Storyline: Documenting Our Girls' Day Out

By Midwesterngirl @MidwesternGirl5
There was a time when I was creating at least 4 scrapbook pages a week (I think...I mean, who knows how many it really was...but 4 sounds like a good number, so I'm going with 4).
Things have changed a bit over the past few years...documenting in notebooks and planners has all but taken over the papercrafting industry...but I still love a good old traditional scrapbook page.
Now, my style has definitely changed since I first started scrapbooking. It's become a little more simple...a little less busy, with a LOT more white space...but, in general, the basic components have stayed the same - photo, date, journaling, embellishments.
Here's my latest page...created with a Heidi's Swapp's Storyline background & some ephemera from the Honey & Spice collection.

I kept this page simple by enlarging my photo to fit the entire width of the 8.5" x 11" background.

Then I chose a few embellishments to fill in some of the space at the top.

I added all of the pertinent information...the Who, What, and Where...

...and finished by stamping in a couple of ink splotches.
Done, and done.
Thank you so much for taking a look!
xoxo
