Stone Roses Secret Gig?

I woke up this morning to various Facebook and Twitter statues informing me that the Stone Roses were playing a secret gig in London tonight.

Well...this is exciting news but as with anything on Facebook or Twitter I needed to double check and get all the facts. I was already following the Stone Roses on Facebook and Twitter and had heard nothing, as usual I thought these were just wishful rumours. But after 9am they released information that they were playing a secret gig in association with Adidas for the Olympics. Well, well, well the rumours were true.Even though the tickets are free, there was a catch! Rubbish!This was the catch, anyone that brought tickets to one of their Heaton Park gigs in Manchester this year would be send an e-mail this morning informing them of their ticket and gig (all chosen at random as long as your address was London). This is great but also a bit shit too, for example I brought my tickets for Heaton Park but used my mum's address who lives in Swindon - no tickets for me.To anyone that got ticket - well done and I hope you enjoy this A-M-A-Z-I-N-G gig. The Heaton Park gigs were brilliant and I hope Ian Browns voice holds out as they are also playing V Festival. As we all know Ian Browns voice has a tendency to be a bit ... crap. I'll keep you informed if there is any more information on the gig.LoveMariannaxXx
