It’s no surprise Stolen Rum – a company whose name is like an invitation for vice – would do something like The Stolen Sofas stunt. We’re not sure whether the sofas in question are really stolen (even though each sofa boasts in white letters “This is stolen”), but Stolen Rum gave away a total 150 sofas in Sydney, Miami and Dunedin. How long did it take for people to clear out the sofas? SEVEN MINUTES! Given how great they looked, it’s not surprising. We are calling this genius marketing strategy.
