Sticker Stack

By Winyeemichelle

Basically, you need to buy everything on StickerStack. So you're a new student who has just finished Freshers' Week and realised that you need actual notebooks and diaries and things instead of entry wristbands and awkward first encounters with new friends. Or you're still stuck in the mantra of First Day of Coat Wearing weather equals new stationery for the school year. Either way, there's a gap in your heart for perfectly designed paper and all that.
Hand on heart, when the lovely team behind StickerStack got in touch with me, I browsed through their online boutique with my brother's girlfriend - equally as stationery nerdy as I - and couldn't wait to share it with you guys.

Half year schedulers are a good idea for school/Uni years. This one is pretty unassuming and ideal for when the academic year stops randomly in like May. The compact size is great for popping in your handbag too, for the non-academic amongst us. I've found it's a good size for my little shoulder bags!

Perhaps my favorite of the selection is this 100 Short Stories Notebook. A spiral bound number with a contrast cover, the notebook is composed of small square shaped entry sections where you can write mini short stories. I adore this idea. As a freelance journalist, full-time fashion editorial writer and hobbyist blogger, it is a dream. You could use this to write 100 mini chapters, 100 novel blurbs or 100 prompts, or to note down 100 character back stories. The limit does not exist. I can't wait to start noting down wild ideas and mini stories in each square and read back on it in a year's time.

I think pencilcases are a Marmite thing. Personally I used them all the time up until Uni when I didn't really need much other than a pen, but I would imagine if you study something like Maths, Architecture or any other subject where more stationery and tools are needed, these little folded ones would be amazing! I've gifted these each to my sister (an Architecture undergraduate) and to my brother's girlfriend (stationery nerd and History student).

Finally a bit of a gratuitious addition to a AW14 Stationery Starter Kit, but this phone purse is so cute and elegant at the same time. Like I've mentioned before, purses just get me - some compact and neat. This one is big enough to fit a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 snugly as well as essential credit cards, Oysters, Octopus', student ID and driving licenses in, as well as for popping a key on the chain for when you're just popping across campus or out for a lunch break. Adore.
Aside from these, notable mentions on StickerStack include:
  • The washi tape selection. Good for decorating apartments, halls, books, diaries, desks and cables.
  • The pens and pencils. Pop them into your pencilcase for extra kawaii kitsch.
  • Diary stickers. Need I say more?!
  • This travel planner - ideal if you're planning a dream getaway to remember.
  • A daily planner; if I still freelanced, this would be a godsend to keep on top of multiple clients, projects, tasks and commitments.
