Steve Aoki and Snoop Dogg Are Releasing an NFT EP

Rapper Snoop Dogg and DJ Steve Aoki have announced that they have cooperated on a new EP named Da Da which will drops as an NFT. People who already have an A0K1VERSE passport or a Snoop Stashbox must have already got a sample NFT track in their wallet.

As stated by Steve Aoki’s Twitter feed, the “Alpha Doggz” duo released two separate Da Da songs as NFTs to people who had one of the NFTs mentioned above. Snoop Dogg and Steve Aoki are collaborating with Gala Music on this recent venture.

The first 2 tracks from the forthcoming Steve Aoki n @SnoopDogg present Alpha Doggz Da Da EP will premiere this Thursday. Anyone had Aoki’s A0K1VERSE Passport on May 19 must have got the NFT “Holy Grail” track. Those with a Snoop Stashbox should now have the NFT for the “Super Freak”.

The Da Da EP will contain five tracks, and latest reports indicate that it will be released on May 23 at Gala Music. However, on May 20, Steve Aoki tweeted that the release of Da Da was under pressure because the team was working on “a few tweaks.”

It is well known that Snoop Dogg and Steve Aoki have a common passion for creating and collecting NFTs. Both of them have prominent NFTs such as Bored Apes and Doodles, and they often drop their art and music NFTs.

Snoop Dogg revealed earlier the current year that he would turn his Death Row Records into a 100% NFT studio. In deed, Death Row Records is helping to produce Da Da’s next EP with Gala Music. Additionally, the Doggfather released their B.O.D.R album as an NFT on Gala.

Speaking of B.O.D.R, Snoop Dogg lately filmed the world’s initial music video using the B.O.D.R “House I Built”. If you look closely, you can see Steve Aoki’s Sandbox avatar in this video, which has a short appearance.

Steve Aoki and Snoop Dogg also have plenty of virtual land in The Sandbox metaverse. Aoki’s Sandbox space is famous as “Aoki’s Playhouse” and Snoop Dogg’s digital realm is named “Snoopverse”.

In addition, Snoop Dogg released its initial 10K series earlier the current year on The Sandbox. These voxel NFTs, named “Doggies”, are playable avatars in The Sandbox ecosystem.
