Valve’s Steam gaming platform has been in news a lot. The most awaited release for Steam was their Linux version. The Linux version was first introduced by Steam last month which was just announced and not released.

They made it clear in their last post that it would only be available for 1,000 users, to be specific 1,000 experienced Linux gamers. Its a big task making sure that all the gamers, no matter the OS should have a streamline experience while playing any game on steam. And so they are limiting this private beta to limited few, making sure they do things right.

If you are interested, you can apply for Steam Linux private beta application. Its a simple survey to fill which would check your system and your OS. But only 1,000 lucky few would be selected for this private beta.
