Enough said?
I seriously need to read MORE Neil Gaiman. So far I’ve read Coraline, The Graveyard Book, The Ocean at the End of the Lane, and now this one.
Stardust is the story of Tristran, a young man in a village who promises his beloved that he will catch a falling star and bring it back for her. He leaves his town and enters the world of Faerie, not realizing he has Faerie blood himself.
This book will remind you of a lot of fairy tales and fantasy stories you heard as a child, but it’s all rolled together in such a clever package. Everything about this book is fun, even when it’s dark – and magic is always dark.
If you’ve read other Gaiman novels, what should I read next? I’m also curious if the movie version was any good?
There’s not much more to tell. This book just made me happy.
