Artist Jeff Bennett recently created an awesome series titled War on Kinkade that shows what happens when the world of Star Wars; stormtroopers, AT-ATs, and Imperial Star Destroyers enter the idyllic pastel worlds of Thomas Kinkade of beautiful gardens, streams, stone cottages and bridges.
Technabob’s comments: “It’s as if the Empire has invaded a quiet Christmas village and turned it into an Imperial base.”
It’s fun to see Bennet’s work on such popular paintings. Thomas Kinkade was claimed to be “America’s most-collected living artist” before his death, with an estimated 1 in every 20 American homes owning a copy of one of his paintings.
