Star Wars Boba Fett Traditional Bento Lunch Box Meal!

By Pepper Bento

Hey there everyone!

Today I want you guys to see my newest bento!

Continuing with the Star Wars theme of the lunch box I picked up last week, I decided to create a Star Wars themed lunch!

I created a very traditional sort of Japanese style bento box this time around, with a cute Boba Fett made of bacon, nori and mange tout!

I put him on a bed of soft, sticky white Japanese rice with peas and a sesame seed and wasabi seasoning.

For sides, I made bacon wrapped asparagus, which I had never tried before. In fact it was my first time trying Asparagus at all. I quite like it and it is very nice at room temperature like this.
I cut some into thin strips for pretty decoration and also added whole wrapped pieces to the box.

I stir fried some baby corn and mange tout for some healthy crunch and color then made some meltingly soft tamagayaki, Japanese style rolled omelette, to complete the meal.

The egg really complimented the asparagus, and the rice and vegetables added a refreshing bite that countered the salty smokey-ness of the bacon.

All in all quite a balanced meal with rice, egg, vegetables and meat all included!
Oh and Star Wars. Star Wars makes lunch even better.
