St. Stephen’s Hampstead Wedding

A super-fun wedding at an amazing venue!

We just knew we were going to be a fantastic fit from the moment we met Claire & Sachin and they described their plans for their awesome, St. Stephen’s Hampstead wedding!
Claire & Sachin wanted a wedding filled with ‘lots of laughter, food, alcohol and silliness’. Boy, they didn’t disappoint!

The day got off to a relaxed start. Jaye met up Claire with for a super chilled out prep, while I (Matt) met a very dapper looking Sachin at St Stephen’s for a few photos before the ceremony.

Sachin and Claire planned their St Stephen’s Hampstead wedding perfectly so that it was all about fun with zero stress. This planning even included booking a hotel for prep location that was literally a 5-minute walk from St Stephen’s. No anxious waiting for cars – instead, Claire and her dad were able to walk to St Stephen’s where Sachin waited for her at the top of the aisle.

Claire & Sachin have big families and it was awesome to see so many smiling, happy faces as they said their vows. As part of a Hindu custom, after the rings were exchanged Sachin dressed Claire with a necklace which was a really beautiful touch (I wish we had this custom at more weddings!). Then, it was back down the aisle and out of the main doors for absolutely, huge amounts of confetti… And I’m talking, a LOT of confetti! I’m not sure if it is possible to drown someone in confetti but Claire & Sachin’s guests definitely had a go!

After lots of hugs and kisses with friends and family, we popped Claire & Sachin out for a few quick photos around the nearby Hampstead Streets. Then it was back to St Stephen’s for the evening party!

A St Stephen’s Hampstead wedding is an awesome sight. St Stephen’s is a grade 1 listed building and has the most beautiful, Neo-Gothic architecture. You need to go big in this building and Sachin & Claire more than achieved this with amazing, huge floral arrangements and uplighters to pick out the awesome columns & ceiling. We love uplighters and the purple tones just look fantastic in the photos!

Claire & Sachin had an absolute feast of Indian food prepared for their guests – I don’t think I’ve ever eaten so well at a wedding! Then, it was time for more laughter with the speeches before hitting the dance floor to party the night away.

Claire & Sachin you rocked it!
