A gazette notice has been issued making Sri Palee Campus of the University of Colombo as the Faculty of Journalism by Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya as the Education Minister.
Accordingly, the Department of Mass Media, Department of Language Studies, Department of Computer Studies and the Department of Performing Arts have been gazette as its departments.
