Sri Lanka Crisis Live: Sri Lanka Parliament Wednesday chose the president while Ranil Wickremesinghe as the next president of a crisis country.
He won 134 out of a total of 219 votes found valid. Following his victory, Wickremesinghe said that Sri Lanka was in a very difficult situation and that there was a big challenge ahead, a Reuters report said.
