On Saturday, I came across a bread that caught my attention.
I love bread. I have loved to eat bread for years.
Why I had cut down on eating bread is because most bread on the market is unhealthy.
Dave’s Killer Bread was my bread of choice if I did buy bread due to the fact that it is made with healthy ingredients. The only downfall is the sugar content. But that is okay if one’s regular diet is primarily sugar-free.
The bread I took notice of over the weekend is by Silver Hills. I had seen this bread before at health food stores.
I picked up a loaf of the Organic Sprouted Power Heritage Grain Big Red’s Bread Sprouted Wheat Bread.
I know that is a hell of a name!
I could tell the item would be good so I purchased the loaf.
When I arrived home, got settled, and ready to give the bread a try. I toasted four slices.
I ate the toast plain without any toppings.
If I were to put any toppings on my toast it would be warmed tomato sauce mixed with garlic, basil, and oregano.
I stopped putting vegan spread on top of my toast a year ago because the saturated fat content is just too high for the way I like to eat toast when I get into the mood.
The first bite and chew were delicious. Then, I toasted a few more slices.
We all have our own preferences, however, for me this bread is the best tasting healthy bread on the market.
It is also highly nutritious!
This loaf of bread only has 1g of added sugar.
I went and bought another loaf on Sunday, and finished it by Tuesday.
The ingredients are:
