Spring Trend: Oxfords

Spring has finally arrived! The flowers are starting to bloom and we can start to change out our winter wardrobe. In the northeast, we have had some warmer days, but we still have had some chilly days mixed in. A perfect shoe for this transition time is the oxford.

I love the oxford. It is a classic look and a comfortable shoe that can be worn with many outfits. Oxfords come in various styles, colors, and they are carried by many well known brands.

I shopped online at Nordstrom, Lord & Taylor, Gap, Modcloth, Shoebuy, and Zappos. In addition to online shopping,  I also shopped at the Nordstrom Rack on Boylston St. in Boston as well as the Lord & Taylor nearby. All of these retailers have a variety of oxfords to choose from that will not break your budget. You can make the decision on how much you want to spend on this shoe.

I put together two collections of my favorite online results. Check them out below!

For outfit ideas on how to wear oxfords, do a search for “oxford outfits” on Google or Pinterest. You can also flip through the latest catalogs and magazines. For example, the April issue of People Style Watch covered oxfords on page 203!
